The Trail Safety Team removes trail hazards and patrols our urban trails so that users can safely enjoy them.
Trail Safety Team members patrol in pairs throughout San Jose's urban trail system on electric bicycles, providing a visible security presence. Patrollers use an online reporting matrix provided by the City of San José to report illegal or suspicious activities to the responsible authorities. The Trail Safety Team makes our urban trails safe and accessible to the public.
